Word search game to learn German

Find German vocabulary in grids of letters...good for improving spelling

About the German Word search game

This game concentrates on your ability to recognize and spell written German. Finding German texts in a grid helps you to recognize what the German words and sentences look like and starts to teach you German spelling for this topic vocabulary too. This is a vital skill in mastering basic German and being able to use it in real life situations.

Notes

  • Word search is a one player game to learn or revise written German.
  • Word search is a timed game - play a few times, set a personal best time and try to get on the leaderboard!
  • It is best to go through the written texts in the topic lesson before you attempt this game.
  • The language items can be in straight lines on the grid but more often they follow a stepped, winding path so they can be hard to find.
